Those bags are so cute!!! Question: What tips can you give on how to pack lightly? I have a tendency to overpack and would like to learn to be more efficient.Dream Honeymoon: I would love to go anywhere where there are white sand beaches.. My fiance and I are not much into sight seeing, and we'd rather just relax on the sand all day long.
ANSWER: Pack items which provide versatility. Like a skirt that can be worn as a strapless dress or a skirt, shorts that can be worn with tennis shoes during the day and strappy sandals at night. Wear your jeans on the plane…that way they take up less room in your bag. If you really want to focus on packing the bare essentials—swimsuits, lingerie, a versatile sundress, jeans and a sexy top should do it!

That bag rocks! Its a great bag AND a great way to point out to people that you are on your honeymoon without sounding like you are begging for free upgrades! Two questions: Honeymoon recommendation for scuba fanatics? We want to go somewhere kind of like the Big Island of Hawaii, where we can dive, hike, OR be honeymoon bums and stay in our room or on the beach for hours on end. (Big Island is out because we've been there so much.)Second question - is the bag washing machine safe? If I am using it alot - I need to be able to wash it without ruining it! =)
ANSWER: The Honeymoon Bag is 100% machine washable. Thank you for your lovely comments!! I heard there are a lot of water sport activities available in Hawaii…you might also want to try Aruba as my cousin said he had a great time scuba diving there while on his honeymoon…Los Cabos, Mexico might be another option.

Love the honeymoon bag! We're going to Puerta Vallarta after the wedding. I actually have two questions: How can one avoid drinking or eating something that will ruin the vacation, but still experience the local cuisine? Also, is there such as thing as a honeymoon upgrade? Thanks
ANSWER: A ‘honeymoon upgrade’ for sure…you should expect royal treatment while on your honeymoon—since you typically only get one vacation like this in your lifetime! The Honeymoon Bag can help garnish you complimentary upgrades. As far as eating/drinking safely…I would stay clear of raw foods and anything you’re allergic to—ask about ingredients in prepared foods that you might be skeptical about. Drink bottled water. For the most part, I would just r-e-l-a-x and not worry too much. If you’re staying in a resort, chances are your food and drinks should be safe.

These are so cute, and i love the idea of attracting freebies by carrying it! you know we brides love our freebies :) My question is regarding travel insurance. Is it honestly necessary or is it just a scam to try to get a few extra bucks out of us? As far as my dream honeymoon i think it would be a trip to Africa...1/2 safari in Tanzania, 1/2 beach holiday in Zanzibar!
ANSWER: Thanks!! Yes attracting freebies with the Honeymoon Bag is fun! Hmm…the insurance question…that’s a good one! We didn’t get extra insurance while on our honeymoon. We mainly paid for things via American Express which guarantees you some security that way. This one is totally your call. What would make you feel more comfortable? If you want extra safety then purchase traveler’s insurance. Here’s some more info on the subject: http://honeymoons.about.com/od/wordsofwisdom/qt/trave_insurance.htm or visit www.myhoneymooninsurance.com.

Great idea, and cute bag! My fiance is in the military and I just graduated with student loans so we're on a tight budget. I've heard that you can get great military discounts with travel, though. How could we go about finding those for our honeymoon? Or, if not military, any great deals for a fun & romantic location? We're up for anything!
ANSWER: Check out the Armed Forces Vacation Club http://www.afvclub.com/. You can rent luxury condos around the world for $249 per week. In addition, many hotels and resorts offer military discounts so always ask.

Great bag--I love the idea of being able to "innocently" let others know that we're on our honeymoon. On to the question. With all of the baggage restrictions/charges that have hit airlines, suitcase space is definitely becoming a hot commodity. I am notorious for overpacking beauty supplies so that I will be ready for any occasion on a trip. What suggestions do you have for packing light, but still being ready for everything from sightseeing and beach-lounging to a special dinner with my new hubby? We haven't booked our honeymoon yet, but my dream honeymoon would be to go somewhere where we can relax and enjoy the time after our wedding without a lot of pressure to see or do a million things. I'd love to be able to just let our mood dictate the day--maybe lounge on the beach, explore the area, or just lay in bed all day!
ANSWER: As detailed on my site, www.beautygram.com, here are four beauty packing tips to set the honey-mood!

Channel your inner glow. Mascara, concealer, blush, lip gloss and a hydrating face spray is all you need. Your inner bridal glow will take care of the rest. However, this is the perfect excuse to buy a new lip and blush set that speaks to your ‘honey-mood’ and travel destination. Many spring color stories feature color palettes inspired by hot spots like the Mediterranean.

Practice safe skin. Pack easy-to-use products that both you and your hubby can share. A product like Coppertone’s No-Rub Sunscreen is great because it’s a continuous spray that provides quick and even coverage.
Think easy-sexy hair. Pack a bottle of aloe vera gel— aside from alleviating redness and providing moisture after a day out in the sun, you can mix it with water to spritz and cool off while on the beach. Aloe vera also acts as a great pomade to tame fly-aways and eliminate frizz. A neat trick is to apply aloe vera gel to wet hair and let dry naturally to get coveted beach waves.

Think scentsational. Remember your choice fragrance will remind you of your magical vacation for years to come. Select a fragrance that is reminiscent of your honeymoon spot. Lots of cosmetic companies are developing fragrances that are destination driven and evoke the smell of the islands. My favorite is Beach by Bobbi Brown.
P.S. The Honeymoon Bag is also sold as a travel beauty set complete with all of the cosmetic products you’ll need to be glowy and polished throughout day time excursions and night time festivities.

I love the honeymoon bag! What a fun idea! We are heading to Fiji for our honeymoon. Two weeks of fun and sun on a small island. On such a beautiful tropical vacation I know I will have to worry about two things, bugs and the sun!!! (Yes, I have to worry about the sun! I'm a fair skinned girl from the Pacific Northwest.) Do you have any recommendations for bug spray and sun screen?
ANSWER: Thank you for your wonderful comments about the Honeymoon Bag. Avon Skin So Soft Bug spray is the best!! For sun screen go with high a SPF (30, 50 and up)—I like the new rub-less spray-on formulations. They provide great coverage and are easy to apply. Another option is L’Occitane available in better shopping malls across America. This brand makes more traditional creams and formulations— a bit more luxurious of course, but worth it. Also, they offer some of the highest concentrations of SPF on the market!

Love it! My question...I am a habitual overpacker. With the new extra fees for additional bags, what is the best way to stop overpacking?
ANSWER: Thank you! Create the right Honey-mood! Here’s the complete list for all of the packing essentials you will need for your trip of a lifetime. View other tips on www.beautygram.com.

With all of today’s carry-on and check-in restrictions, the space in your bag is prime real estate. It is important to pack items that are going to lighten your load, uplift your mood and add to your honeymoon experience.

Think beach chic. Find a carry-on, that’s a carry-all and acts as a travel tote and beach bag. A good rule of thumb is to fill it with everything you need for your flight and your first escape to the beach. Should your check-in luggage get delayed, your first trip to the sands won’t be compromised.

Think date night. Now’s the perfect time to show-stop with stilettos that make you look and feel your sexiest, but can’t be tolerated for long periods of time. You know the pair you purchased for a romantic dinner date, but never seem to wear—the moment has finally arrived…dust off the dinner heels…its date night!

Think no ‘night-night’ nighty. It’s traditional and memorable to wear white lingerie on your honeymoon night, but keep things spicy and unexpected by wearing a red sexy panty underneath to relay you’re ready for playtime, not bedtime.

Very cute-my question is about the impossible....how do you fit two bikes and hiking gear into one tiny bag for the honeymoon? (Actually seriously-who makes the best spray on sunscreen?)
ANSWER: Funny!! I like the Coopertone brand the best. Try Coppertone UltraGuard Continuous Spray with UVB and UVA protection.

My dream honeymoon would be to go on a beer and chocolate tour of Belgium and Germany -- and my question is: How can you find cheap hotels in Europe so I can actually go on my dream honeymoon?
ANSWER: I would use www.moonrings.com. They could scout and recommend cheaper honeymoon focused boutique hotels and resorts, etc. BTW- you can now plan a chocolate centered retreat/vacation anywhere across America withhttp://www.bittersweetescapes.com/about.html.

Love the cute bags!My question is how to best ask for free upgrades when it comes to booking for honeymoons. Is better to talk to the manager, book via online, etc? My dream honeymoon would be to travel through countries in Europe - Spain, Germany, France, and Italy...of course on an unlimited budget!
ANSWER: Taking the Honeymoon Bag makes things easier/legit when asking for/wanting free upgrades. Another tip, call the hotel you will be staying at before your arrival. Ask to speak to the manager and politely request an upgrade. Sound excited and passionate about why you’ve chosen their particular venue to spend your honeymoon! Also, note some hotels will want to see a copy of a marriage license/certificate so have that handy just in case.

I love the bag! It's our wedding colors too.I would like to know if you recommend the "all inclusive" type resorts. Do you have any recommendations as far as the packages and if we should use a travel agent?ANSWER: Thanks! What a coincidence— Would probably suit you nicely then don’t you think?! Like I’ve mentioned before…I’m a firm believer in www.moonrings.com for travel arrangements and seeking out more romantic boutique type hotels or resorts instead of big a ‘all inclusive’ resort for your honeymoon. You want your stay to be adult focused—bigger resorts tend to have spring break type partiers…not what you want to see while honeymooning.

Oh how charming! I love the idea of having a special bag that also serves as a keepsake! I can think of all sorts of naughty and nice things to pack in my bag :)My question: where's the best "undiscovered gem" of a location you're dying to share? We hope to have a mini-moon somewhere affordable right after the wedding, and save for a 1-year anniversary Honeymoon to Thailand!
ANSWER: Naughty and nice packing is always fun. The Honeymoon Bag gets you in the mood to pack both themes. I LOVE NAPA! You can’t go wrong with any hotel, resort or bed and breakfast inn in Napa or Sonoma. As far as ‘undiscovered’…I love Casa Madrona in Saulselito, CA. They have some great specials sometimes— I stayed there and loved it! Here are two other gems I’ve always wanted to stay at in Tiberon, CA:
The Inn Above the Tide:

What a great bag! I love the idea of sharing your newly-wedded joy - in a classy and cute way. :)We plan to honeymoon in Costa Rica - so far we hope to spend half the time at the beach and half in the jungle or by Arenal Volcano. We want to have a great experience, while still taking the time to relax and be together with no to-do lists (a must after planning a wedding!) what are your tips for balancing sight-seeing and laid-back time?
ANSWER: Thank you! Yes, the Honeymoon Bag is a great way to share wedded joy. I say plan ahead (before you get to your destination) so you don’t have to ‘think’ too much when you arrive. If you have 5 days allow one complete day for sight-seeing (search online for must-see places). Allow one day for lounging on the beach. One day for sleeping in and perhaps not leaving your room. One day for ‘where the day takes us’ type of thing and one day for a romantic surprise—either you can take the lead on this one or your groom to be.
